Home Assistant

Home Assistant is an open-source platform for home automation. It allows you to automate and manage various smart devices in your home through a single interface. You can connect and control devices such as lights, electricity meters, internet routers, security cameras and more, even if they are from different manufacturers. Peter installed Home Assistant on an old thin client and got excited about its possibilities. In this presentation, he tells how he uses it, what problems he encountered and how he solved it.
