Many people know Joomla as a CMS, but there’s more: the Joomla Framework. It’s a collection of standalone PHP packages that let you build custom apps, even without Joomla CMS.
The PHP packages are also included in Joomla CMS itself.
Peter explains the Joomla Framework, Composer, and Packagist, and shows how you can use the Joomla Framework for small applications.
