This site can’t be reached

During a holiday in York (England), Peter was supposed to receive the address and the code for the key safe via Booking.com 24 hours before arrival. Mobile internet on his phone worked fine in England, but strangely enough, the Booking.com app refused to function.

Even on his laptop with a mobile hotspot, that one particular Booking.com website was unreachable, while other websites worked just fine.

What do you do in such a case? How do you track down such a vague problem? And more importantly: where do you sleep if you can’t access your accommodation?
